We're delighted to welcome Abdulla Al-Naimi to Sampac Ventures as an Advisor.
Mr. Al-Naimi brings more than a decade of experience across venture capital, early-stage investing, and asset management. Most recently he led investment operations and innovation programs at Qatar Science & Technology Park, helping international startups enter the MENA region and building the frameworks that connected them to local partners and regulators.
Before that, he held senior investment and portfolio roles at Aslan Investment Company in Dubai, covering real estate, technology, and hospitality. He also founded Doha Business Consulting, a boutique advisory practice working with SMEs across Qatar on operations, revenue diversification, and growth strategy.
His training is unusually broad: a BEng in Electronic & Communication Engineering from Leeds, an MSc in Project Management from Salford, and the Venture Capital Executive Program at UC Berkeley. That mix shows up in how he reads a company, with equal attention to the technology, the operating plan, and the numbers.
In his advisory capacity, Mr. Al-Naimi will work with our team and portfolio founders on market entry across the Gulf, fundraising strategy, and building the local partnerships that make regional expansion actually work. Mentorship has been a constant through his career, and it's a large part of why we wanted him in the room.
Welcome, Abdulla. We're glad to have you with us.
